Your tax deductible gift will help to guarantee that children will always find a place that welcomes, nurtures, respects and educates them at the Children’s House.

SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Our goal is to fully fund investments which will generate income to provide partial scholarships to families who apply and meet need-based criteria. We plan for this fund to generate annual income which will equal three times the tuition. Financial assistance, up to 50% of the annual tuition, is distributed to eligible families each year as funds are available.

BUILDING / DEBT REDUCTION FUND
The building expansion and renovation in 2003 gave our children superb physical facilities to complement the excellent teaching and unsurpassed parental support that they were already receiving at Children’s House. While many families and supporters helped us raise over $300,000 for this effort, we still needed to borrow to complete the improvements. Our goal is to pay down this debt as soon as possible.
All contributors to this fund are acknowledged on a marble display in the entry foyer. Those giving $5000 or more have the opportunity to name classrooms, indoor and outdoor areas and art galleries. Gifts of any amount are welcomed and appreciated.

ANNUAL GIVING FUND
Donations to the annual giving fund help to support competitive teacher salaries and benefits, our art program and galleries, scholarships, curriculum development and other program needs. Donations to this fund are used throughout the school year.

THE HONOR FUND
Honor a special person and/or occasion in your life; a child, teacher, parent, friend, birthday, anniversary, achievement. Contributors to this fund recognize the importance of quality early childhood education. We will send a personal thank you to the honoree upon receipt of your gift. Contributions are incorporated into our general operations fund and support our education program.

THE CHILDREN’S HOUSE WALK OF FAME
Leave your mark in stone by purchasing a commemorative, personally engraved paving stone which will line the reception area at the school entrance. Paving stones may be engraved with text as you desire. Two sizes are available; a 4x8 clay paver with up to 3 lines of text for $100 or an 8x8 limestone paver with up to six lines of text for $250.

FUND-RAISING ANNUAL EVENTS

WINTER BAZAAR
The Winter Bazaar, held on the first Saturday each December, is a fund raising event for the entire family. The day includes a children’s game area, arts and crafts sales, face painting, lunch, bake sale, greens and bows sales, home made casserole and soup sales and the most special of all, the children’s shopping area. Children, shopping in a special area set up like a department store, can purchase slightly used gifts for friends and family and have them gift wrapped. Current and former families as well as friends in the community join in the activities on this special day. Proceeds support the general operating fund. See home page for links to order forms and information.

Cost underwriting contributions are needed and appreciated. To receive information or to make a contribution contact office@childrenhousenashville.org.
