Admissions Policy, Tuition and Fees

Applications are accepted throughout the year. Admission decisions are made in mid – March for enrollment in the fall. We enroll children who are three or four years of age. Five year old children, who have previously attended a Montessori school, will be considered as space permits. Priority is given to siblings and legacies whose applications are on file by January 1 of the enrollment year.

Tuition and Fees (see current fees by selecting this link)  Need based, tuition scholarships are available for qualifying applicants.  Contact the school office for more information.

The purpose of the admissions process is to optimize the match between our program and your child. Our admissions policies reflect our belief that children, who experience diversity when they are young, grow to accept and cherish variety in others. In our multi-age classrooms we are committed to creating a miniature of the Nashville community at large, with a mix of social, racial, religious and economic groups. Additionally, the population of each classroom is balanced by age and gender with date of application a considering factor.

The criteria for acceptance are:

  • date of birth (three by September 30)
  • the child’s readiness for the program including independent toileting skills,
  • parent's classroom observation,
  • parent’s understanding and support of the Montessori philosophy and our program.
